The Orlando Chapter is proud to announce the establishment of the Dr. Jose Rizal Memorial Scholarship, providing financial assistance to Filipino-American students pursuing higher education in Central Florida.
The scholarship recognizes academic excellence, community service, and demonstrated commitment to Filipino cultural values. Two scholarships of $2,500 each will be awarded annually to deserving students enrolled in accredited colleges or universities.
Applications will open on August 1, 2026. Eligibility requirements include Filipino heritage, minimum 3.5 GPA, active community involvement, and enrollment in a Central Florida institution.
This program reflects Dr. Rizal's belief that education is the key to national progress and individual empowerment.
